Competition Details

Children eligible to take Part

Key Stage 1 (Ages 4-6)

Theme: Bollington Festival, a 50th Birthday Celebration

Key Stage 2 (Ages 7-11)

Theme: (50 Years.) Festivals -Past, Present and Future.

Individual or collaborative work can be entered

Dean Valley

St Gregory’s

St Johns

Pott Shrigley

Art Medium

Any medium whatsoever including paint, crayon, cut materials etc.. 2 dimensional only.

Works must be no larger than A3

Entries

To be summited within the Spring Half Term 10th Feb – 31st March 2014 to the school. These will

then be collected.

Exhibition Venue

Bollington Town Hall
Part of the Festival Art Trail

Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th of May 2014, with the preview Friday 16th May.

Publicity

The competition/exhibition will be detailed on its own page on the Bollington Festival Art Trail Blog.

A poster for circulation to the participating schools and a leaflet for the parents

Judges / judging

A panel of judges from the Festival Visual Arts Group and the Town Council will pick the winners.

Prizes

There will be 4 main prizes –

2 individual prizes for the two key stages winners and 2 prizes for the

collaborative winners in each key stage.

Individual prize winners will receive a prize to keep for themselves. Those collaborating will receive

a prize for their school.
