Allotments, with their abundance of strange object, animals, plants and building provide the narrative for this collection. Each "plot" is unique and highlights the beauty of a simple vegetable patch or gardens. The collection combines line drawing with laser cutting and result in what can only be described as 3D drawings.
This body of work was produced as part of Lucy's degree show and pieces
have been on sale in Nottingham, London and at Yorkshire Sculpture Park. For

NB there is no through road and parking is
limited so people will need to park where Shrigley dyers mill used to be and
walk up - can provide parking for disabled visitors.

Directions:
From the Silk Road Macclesfield take the turning into Bollington.
Follow the main road all the way through Bollington until you get to a mini
round about by "The Con club". At this round about turn right onto church
street. Follow church street to the end and turn left after "The Crown Inn". It
is advisable to park up at his point and take the lovely walk for the last 800m.
Follow Ingersley Vale all the way, past the bowling green, the former Shrigley
dyers site and an allotment plot on your left. Continue up a small hill until
you reach a small group of houses and a waterfall. The Exhibition of Lucy's work
is in the last house on the right.
From here it is only a short walk to Rainow or White Nancy for those
who would like to enjoys a nice walk.View Larger Map
